Its definitely not smooth but I gotta say for rock sometimes it just sounds right. I mean selling what their product does Also the quality of his free EQ plug. I do believe in talent and recordings with low budgets.
So smooth, as is the rest of the GUI. Also i think the point someone made about algo based saturation having the edge in dynamics is interesting.

Within minutes of bringing up the interface I knew things would never be the same for me. I don't understand where you're getting that from.
I don't tend to use punchy boards I've been doing console emulation for a while with Nebula so it's just not my satosn I haven't had a chance to compare a full mix to the punchier Nebula consoles yet but I'll get around to that; just from playing with it I don't see the console sound standing up to the Trident programs sound-wise but it's a lot less CPU. Here you can push SatSon harder if you want and compensate with your tracks faders.
I've been using the urs strip pro for a while, and so far like it.

No plugins give the same phase-response, gentle slew limiting think API and other anomolies of those consoles, it's mostly just some happy distortion, and maybe a little compression, and the compression isn't even frequency-dependent. The console sound is nice, a fairly punchy board he's emulating.
Bear in mind that if you have a dynamics processor in your chain, any change in SatSon's gain will affect it in this case the output compensation is useless since it will destroy your gain staging at this sagson.
The real shocking thing is that I can add instances of this to an already complex mix without my computer dying. I also never use the noise controls in plugins. Now do the same with the rest of your drums elements, unmute one by one and move their SatSon's gain up until you've reached a good level.

And can I just say again Another biggie was CPU satsoh, stability and workflow. On the other hand if I use Satson's gain control on every channel prior to mixing, everything will fall apart without it which I'm not entirely comfortable with At this point you can't move its gain anymore or at least, you shouldn't.
How it is so light-weight and still make that big of a difference is amazing. Anyways, you can disable the crosstalk in SatSon right now so you're good Dannii!
I am not totally innocent regarding cracked plugins, but I have gone completely "legit" in my audio system and I guess that I get a little wacky when I think about people taking someones work and the dev not getting paid for their work. So, low level detail - forget it. For those who have tried both, would you recommend having both in your arsenal? Satson is a nice plugin.
